Q1. Are you Estate Agents?
No. Antony Brassey Consultancy works for the buyer only. Our objective is to find the right property first and to then secure it for the buyer at the lowest possible price. Estate agents work for the seller for whom they are trying to achieve the highest possible price.
Q2. Do you have any conflicts of interest?
No. We only act for buyers as we are totally independent. Many other buying services are owned by estate agents or financial institutions.
Q3. What happens if I am looking for the same type of property as another of your clients?
This happens extremely rarely as no two requirements are the same and each case is inevitably at a different stage of progression. We provide an exclusive and bespoke service for a limited number of clients at any one time.
Q4. Do you only act for those looking at the top end of the market?
Not at all. We offer the same level of service whatever the budget, which can be from £500,000 for a small house or cottage up to £2 million or more for large houses with land.
Q5. What other contacts do you have?
We are in touch with experienced conveyancing solicitors, building surveyors, architects, interior and garden designers, many of whom we have worked with and have a proven track record.
We are not associated with any financial services but have excellent contacts in the financial world for the benefit of our clients.
Q6. Do you have information about schools?
We have first-hand experience and close contact with a number of schools in the area and we can supply further information to clients.
Q7. Do you just find houses for clients?
No. We are able to deal with the purchase of agricultural land, farms and estates and have professional independent expertise available in this respect.
Q8. Do you find houses for rent?
Yes, we are able to find houses and cottages for rent in the Cotswolds and complete a number of transactions of this sort every year.
